Our Most Anticipated Games For 2018

It feels like a 2017 has been a rough year for video games considering the shameless scams known as loot boxes, shovelware flooding all the digital stores and numerous brutally disappointing AAA games. However, there have been many pleasant surprises as well and great games in almost every imaginable genre. So what does 2018 have in store for us? We compiled a list of our most anticipated games for 2018 (in no particular order, as usual).

Dragon’s Crown Pro

Dragon’s Crown being arguably the best beat ’em up game in recent history of video games, we’re more than excited for this new and updated version of The Masterpiece.

Monster Hunter World

The Monster Hunter series has always been represented by quality games with hundreds of hours of content. Monster Hunter World looks to deliver numerous interesting features and mind-blowing visuals.

Yakuza 6: The Song of Life

The Yakuza games have always been gems in our eyes and the latest installments have only improved on an already rock-solid concept. Yakuza 6: The Song of Life looks exceptional with its gripping story and hard-boiled action.

Mega Man 11

Mega Man stands for tight old-school gameplay and hard core challenge. Will Mega Man 11 live up to its legacy? We sure hope so!

Anthem

Anthem looks to satisfy our run-and-gun needs with its amazing (dare I say photo-realistic?) visuals and insane armed combat. Just look at those environments… This has to be a blast to play.

Devil May Cry HD Colleciton

Here’s something for the hardcore gamers – three classic Devil May Cry games for the current generation of consoles (Xbox One, Playstation 4 and Windows PC). Yes, this collection was previously released on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. The more the merrier, right?

Gravel

Off-road racing with insanely powerful vehicles? Hell yeah, Gravel looks like a welcome addition to any racing game collection.

Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom

There’s nothing quite like playing through a long and engaging roleplaying adventure game. Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom looks and sounds like the perfect adventure to enjoy from a cozy sofa with controller in hand…!

Kingdom Come: Deliverance

This game looks to become a must-have title for all the fans of medieval warfare and gritty drama. Just exploring this beautiful and immersive world is sure to be a memorable experience.

The Crew 2

Even though the previous game in the series had its fair share of (sometimes game breaking) bugs, here’s hoping that this sequel will deliver fully on its promise. Good looking open-world racing games are few and far between, sadly.

Vampyr

Vampyr looks extremely interesting with its dark themes and stunning graphics. With talented creators such as these, this is a game that we’re really looking forward to.

Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection

It’s time to go back to the roots with the original Street Fighter games. This awesome collection includes 12 classic arcade-perfect Street Fighter games, ranked online modes and lots of other goodies. A no-brainer.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown

PSVR or not, Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is set up to be a mind-blowing action drama from start until the end.

Thrones of Britannia

A Total War game set in historical Britannia? That sounds too good to be true… if you are a nerd for medieval warfare like us.

Red Dead Redemption 2

‘Nuff said.

Warhammer: Vermintide 2

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 will surely be highly enjoyable if you have friends to play it with.

Shenmue III

Because sometimes dreams come true…
